No. The minimum engagement period is 3 months, 6 months preferably.

Dependent on the project, most contractors will look for a minimum 6-month contract.

While most contractors work with our clients in person, our contractors also work offsite. Contractors can also work in other cities, performing all of their work fully remotely. Cognesis works with our client’s needs and location requirements to fit the best possible contractor for each role.

As Australia progresses towards becoming fully vaccinated, Cognesis will ensure we have vaccinated contractors available for clients as required.

In the rare case that a problem arises our contracts of engagement for contractors and clients are designed to cover the most common potential problem. For further assurance our Cognesis’ staff are always available for our clients and contractors to rapidly and satisfactorily resolve any issues.

We warranty our contractors and will back-fill if there is a need for same. Our client contracts include a replacement guarantee if the contractor selected by a client is unable to proceed for any reason.

Cognesis covers all insurances required for a contractor to engage with our clients. We provide Professional Indemnity; Product & Public Liability; Worker’s Compensation Insurance in each relevant State; Cyber Security Insurance and Labour Hire Licensing.

Cognesis is constantly monitoring COVID restrictions and limitations, particularly in relation to travel restrictions, to ensure our contractors are kept up to date and stay safe, and for client’s continuity of service.

We can provide as many contractors as you need. Cognesis is renowned for finding the right person at the right time. If you need a specific resource, we can help. If you need a Tiger Team of engineers and technicians to ramp up, or work through a backlog of work, Cognesis is the solution.

Cognesis’s expertise is in contract labour hire to fill a specialist role for a specified period of time.

Yes – we have Defence cleared reosurces and are familiar with ITAR requirements and related processes of Defence Security Clearance.

Cognesis will arrange Zoom, Webex or Teams meetings so that our clients can meet and interview our Contractors.

No you don’t. Whilst the majority of our clients require Defence Security Clearance there are some who do not.

Cognesis can assist with you applying for a Defence Security Clearance.

Cognesis contractors typically work a 40-hour week, however this can vary with the client’s needs.

No but If you have your own Company or Trust you can use it to work with Cognesis. You can also work with us if you don’t have a Company or Trust.
